Since 1985, John Fulton, better known as the Surfing Santa, has turned a unique holiday tradition into a poignant reminder of the homelessness crisis. Every December 23rd, he surfs the Niagara River’s icy waters between Fort Erie, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York.
