The Niagara Falls Innovation Hub is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with the Niagara Industrial Association (NIA), a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening Niagara’s industrial and entrepreneurial ecosystem. This collaboration will leverage the combined resources, expertise, and networks of both organizations to create new opportunities for startups and established businesses across the region.
A key component of this partnership is the continued collaboration on the NICHE (Niagara, Innovation, Cluster, Helping, Entrepreneurs) Innovation Series. The next phase of NICHE will focus on Manufacturing Innovation, offering a platform for industry leaders and innovators within Niagara’s manufacturing sector. With the support of NIA, this event aims to inspire new connections and foster opportunities in one of the region’s most vital industries.
The partnership also includes an exciting opportunity for graduate students from the University of Niagara Falls Canada. Through work-integrated learning experiences facilitated by NIA’s network of leading manufacturers, students will gain hands-on experience, build essential professional networks, and develop key skills needed for success in Niagara’s industrial community.
Additionally, the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub is pleased to welcome Jordan Sherlock, Executive Director of NIA, to its Advisory Board. Jordan’s extensive experience in the industrial sector will provide valuable insights as the Advisory Board continues to support startups with industry connections, technology validation, and growth opportunities.
This partnership marks a significant step in fostering innovation, growth, and collaboration within Niagara’s business landscape. Together, the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub and NIA are committed to driving meaningful progress and creating new avenues for success in the region.
