Master your technical and soft skills through a tailored curriculum that addresses the unique challenges of fundraising in today’s dynamic business landscape. Work side by side with seasoned Entrepreneurs-in-Residence and industry experts who bring a wealth of experience and insights to guide you on your entrepreneurial path. Founders can access business coaching sessions that focus on refining a fundraising strategy, perfecting business pitch skills, and navigating the intricacies of attracting investors.
This program is powered by the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub, The City of Niagara Falls, Meridian Credit Union and Niagara Region Economic Development and is open to all businesses throughout the Niagara Region.
Magnificent Women Market (MWM)
MWM is a 3-month program and artisan boutique located in downtown Niagara Falls, ON, designed exclusively for small businesses looking to experience a storefront venture. The market serves as a retail incubator allowing entrepreneurs the opportunity to sell their products and services collectively as a cohort and is accessible to business owners throughout the Niagara Region.
This powerful opportunity is a holistic journey of mentorship, resources, and community support. The market space is open to the public for shopping on Thursdays & Fridays 11 am – 6pm, and Saturdays & Sundays 12 pm – 4pm.
Business Basics
A cohort-based program tailored for Niagara Falls’ budding entrepreneurs, particularly those in the early stages of their journey. Geared towards individuals with business ideas or those starting to establish their ventures, the program aims to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge.
Led by experienced entrepreneur Rahi Tajzadeh, the program comprises five modules covering business planning, legal considerations, market research, marketing, sales basics, and finance. In-person attendance is mandatory for graduation. Participants also receive personalized coaching from seasoned entrepreneurs David, Lou, and Rahi, with additional drop-in office hours available for assistance.

Startup Visa
The Niagara Falls Innovation Hub, in partnership with the Niagara Business and Innovation Fund, introduces the Startup Visa program, aiding immigrant entrepreneurs in establishing businesses in the region. Designated by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, the program offers permanent residency to entrepreneurs with promising ideas.
Led by Fred Davies, the Fund provides essential guidance and expertise, while the Hub offers support infrastructure. Startup Visa has the potential to attract, mentor, and commercialize startups, fostering economic growth. Services include business planning, mentorship, and access to funding.
The program, offering temporary work visas and a pathway to permanent residency, enriches Niagara’s entrepreneurial landscape. Fred Davies, active at the Hub, mentors young companies, highlighting the partnership’s value in fostering innovation and investment in the region.
