Introducing the Niagara Passport: One Membership, Two Workspaces

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Two Niagara Workspaces Launch the Region’s First Dual-Location Membership

Haven Workspace and the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub introduce the Niagara Passport, a single membership covering both locations, on July 23, 2026

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE & NIAGARA FALLS, ON – July 2026 – Two of the region’s leading professional hubs have partnered to launch a dual membership connecting Niagara’s professional and innovation communities, for the first time. On July 23, 2026, Haven Workspace in Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub in Niagara Falls will launch the Niagara Passport, a dual-location membership that gives business professionals, entrepreneurs, remote workers, and local business owners access to both spaces on one card.

It’s the first dual membership of its kind in the Niagara region.

The Passport gives members one NFC card and two very different homes for their work. Haven Workspace, the boutique coworking and social club at 242 Mary Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake, brings full-week access from 6am to 9pm, a members’ boardroom, espresso and tea service, and a community programming calendar. The Niagara Falls Innovation Hub adds 24/7 access, a content creation suite, a Prototyping and Design Lab, makerspace, mini makerspace and crafting corner, and monthly 1:1 business coaching.

Together, both organizations are also bringing an AI Workshop Series to the region this July, four weeks of hands-on training designed to help Niagara business owners put AI to work in their operations. More details coming soon.

Both organizations have run independent communities in the region for years, with existing member bases and distinct cultures. Haven is co-led by Reggie Tan and Madaline Zannes; the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub by CEO Dan Bordenave and the incredible team that supports the ecosystem. Both spaces attract startup founders, local business owners, remote professionals, and technical builders; each with its own culture and energy. Haven offers a boutique, curated membership environment in wine country; the Innovation Hub brings 24/7 access, a prototyping and design lab, makerspace, and hands-on programming in the Falls. The Passport is a deliberate bet that Niagara’s professionals benefit from access to both rather than picking a tribe.

“Niagara has the talent and the ambition – it’s always had both. What’s been missing is a better way to connect people across the region. The Passport makes it easier for entrepreneurs, professionals, and growing businesses to move between two communities that each offer distinct advantages,” said Tan, cofounder of Haven Workspace.

“This partnership reflects our belief from the beginning that people do their best work when they have both community and opportunity,” said Zannes, cofounder of Haven Workspace. “By connecting Haven Workspace with the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub, we’re making it easier for people to access the spaces, resources, and relationships they need to succeed in Niagara.”

“It takes collaborations like these to bring Niagara’s innovative community together. Sharing resources, programs, and amenities is how we will build a holistic and forward-thinking entrepreneurial region. We are genuinely excited to work alongside such a forward-thinking organization as Haven Workspace, and we are proud to stand at the forefront of regional innovation collaboration together with their incredible team,” said Bordenave, CEO of the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub.

The NFC cards themselves were designed and printed at the Hub’s prototyping and design lab. Made in Niagara, in the most literal sense.

Membership includes a short application and vetting process to maintain the quality of both communities.

Founding cohort applications open July 23 at niagarapassport.ca.
